If you drove by GM Place and noticed a big mob of people on Monday evening, that was Jonas Brothers fans waiting to get into their concert. The doors were supposed to open at 7 p.m., but they didn’t open until just after 7:30 p.m. Word is that there were some problems with sound and the stage set up.

Lori tells us it was extremely difficult to find parking and then they were all packed close together and waiting to get in. “At this point I am quite annoyed, because I was annoyed by the parking situation and now to get up here and find out that my kids aren’t in the concert yet — I mean I didn’t want to leave my kids hanging out on the street, so I had to go park at Costco to come and be with them.”

She says a number of parents were in the same situation, where they had to park and wait instead of just dropping off their teens like they had planned.

The Jonas Brothers kick off their big summer tour on Saturday in Dallas. And the guys, who will be performing in the round, assure fans that when they shill out money for tickets, they will be buying a seat to the concert spectacle of the year.

“I mean, you walk out there right now … that looks big, and then you add a lot of people in there and that’s even bigger, and then they also don’t have seats on the floor yet,” Joe Jonas told MTV News. “So there’s seats going to be all over the floor too, so it’s like, ‘Whoa.’ It’s intense.”

The intensity includes a water curtain, which led to the guys making an interesting list of things you may or may not see when you hit up one of their shows this summer. “We’re going to bring a mountain on the stage with us,” Joe said, before Kevin jokingly added, “And volcanoes and dinosaurs. We’re bringing them back.”

Not only will the guys have a water curtain for real (the dinosaurs and volcanoes will not be included on this stretch of the tour), but they will also have mechanics that will certainly bring them closer to their fans. “We do have a water curtain on the stage. There’s a lot of stuff that’s going on,” Kevin explained. “We have an arm that lifts out of the stage that goes about 30 feet that swings us over the audience.”

But Joe wanted to be sure we got what Kevin meant by an arm. “A big, like, mechanical-looking arm — not an actual arm,” he explained.

I just got back from the concert at wembley and what can I say besides the fact it was incredible, and being my first jonas brothers concert it was extra special. Some highlights include joe throwing his beautiful gold jacket to the audience, so as you can imagine several girls were ready to kill each other to get it (I am ridiculously envious of the new owner of the jacket!). We were also being filmed for jimmy kimmel live, so the boys were talking into the microphones live to the US which was cool. Also, JB started singing a McFly song (stargirl) and the next thing you know, McFly themsleves came to the stage. It was a huge surprise for us all, but to see them perform together (JB and McFly, what more could you want) was really good. Joe once again showered himself (and the audience) with water, and a bit later he jumped into the crowd. People were pulling at his clothes so when he got to the stage his t-shirt looked like it had been ripped from the front, it was like the live version of joe’s instyle shoot
